Milwaukee Tool and ABC Announces Strategic Alliance

The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Milwaukee Tool have announced a strategic partnership that will provide ABC chapters and contractor members with solutions for a safer, more profitable, and productive job site.

ABC chapters and contractor members will benefit from the toolmaker’s ideas for a safer, more profitable, and productive job site.

Milwaukee Tool is the only manufacturer of power tools, hand tools, storage, and accessories to be named an ABC strategic partner, according to the company.

“As ABC’s newest strategic partner, Milwaukee Tool joins a group of hand-picked, trusted resources that assist ABC members in developing people, winning work, and delivering that work safely, ethically, and profitably for the benefit of the communities in which they work,” said Michael Bellaman, president and CEO of ABC.

According to the terms of the agreement, Milwaukee Tool will work with ABC, its 69 chapters, and six other strategic partners to improve the industry.

In addition, the company will continue to serve as the official tool sponsor of ABC’s National Craft Championships (NCC), a relationship that began in 2019.

“ABC is excited to collaborate with Milwaukee Tool and our six other fantastic strategic partners to advance the construction industry.” This organization believes in collaborating with contractors to understand the demands of their constantly evolving workplace and to develop best-in-class solutions for a safer, more productive job site,” Bellaman continued.

The annual NCC competition honors lifelong learning in the merit shop construction industry, with craft trainees from chapter and member training programs across the country competing for national recognition in over a dozen crafts during the ABC convention.

“One-third of ABC chapters already partner with Milwaukee Tool,” said Darrell Hendrix, president of sales at Milwaukee Tool, in a statement. “This strategic partnership between ABC and Milwaukee is a smart one.”

“For more than a century, our goal has been to provide advanced, trade-specific solutions to professional contractors.” As a result of this collaboration, we will have even more opportunities to work with ABC members to better understand their needs in order to continue improving workplace safety and efficiency.”

ABC is a national construction trade association that was founded in 1950 and has approximately 21,000 members.
