StoVentec Fiber Cement Rainscreen System, a fully ventilated rainscreen cladding system that combines sustainability, design freedom, and performance.
Sto Corp., the innovative global leader in building envelope solutions such as wall cladding systems, air barriers, coatings, and restoration systems, announces the introduction of the StoVentec Fiber Cement Rainscreen System, a fully ventilated rainscreen cladding system that combines sustainability, design freedom, and performance.
The StoVentec Fiber Cement Rainscreen System is a sophisticated system that provides excellent thermal performance, fire prevention, and weather resistance. It has non-combustible continuous insulation, a weather-resistant air and water barrier, and high-density, non-combustible fiber cement panels. The technology is designed to reduce thermal bridging, improving energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Its sturdy components and quality engineering assure long-term performance, which is supported by Sto’s single-source warranty.
The StoVentec Fiber Cement Rainscreen System is unparalleled in its versatility, combining configurable proportions with carefully curated color selections to accommodate a wide range of architectural needs. Panels are available in sizes up to 4′ x 10′ (1220 x 3050mm) and thicknesses of 8-10 mm, and may be cut into practically any shape or dimension, allowing for design versatility in both facades and interiors. In addition, there are two unique color collections to further creative possibilities. The Primara Line has a grey-bodied core with an opaque surface finish, resulting in a smooth texture with a mild sanded grain, slight depth, and a sophisticated appearance. Sto Corp’s R&D Manager, David Hohenstern, describes the StoVentec Fiber Cement Rainscreen System as meeting the growing demand for customizable aesthetics and functional excellence in modern construction. The Strata Line features a pigmented core and opaque finish for an ultra-smooth texture and delicate linear effect. “Plus, it integrates seamlessly into new construction and retrofit projects.”
Sto provides pre-engineered solutions that are adapted to project-specific design pressure needs, which increases efficiency. These prescriptive assemblies simplify installation and provide cost transparency, resulting in optimal performance with least effort.
