DuPont and Lampre Introduce Fortilam Metal Panels for Roofs and Facades

The new Fortilam solutions are designed for building exteriors, including those exposed to extreme environments, and are based on proven Tedlar performance as well as a unique Lampre multilayer adhesive and anti-corrosion system.

DuPont reported that Lampre, a European Tedlar film customer, has added a new line of Tedlar-laminated formed metal panels to their Fortilam product range. The new Fortilam solutions are designed for building exteriors, including those exposed to extreme environments, and are based on proven Tedlar performance as well as a unique Lampre multilayer adhesive and anti-corrosion system.

“We are proud to drive innovation through developing market-leading products for the building and construction industry in Europe with Lampre,” stated Matt Urfali, Tedlar’s Global Sales & Marketing Director. “Tedlar has over 60 years of proven performance safeguarding surfaces all around the world. This will continue to grow with the introduction of luxury products such as Fortilam building products.

Fortilam was first unveiled at the 2021 Made Expo in Milan and is available in a variety of metal substrates such as galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The long-lasting product is available in 12 hues and carries a 50-year warranty.

“The Fortilam with Tedlar product launch is based on years of collaboration and testing to bring the best-performing product to market and further establishes Lampre’s position as a market-leader for metal coated products,” stated Emanuele Galbusera, Sales Director of Lampre.

Tedlar is well-known for providing long-lasting aesthetic protection for architectural applications, especially in severe outdoor situations. Tedlar can help to protect and extend a building’s appearance and lifespan by keeping facades from fading, cracking, and corroding. Tedlar films are stain resistant and easy to clean, which lowers maintenance costs and protects structural investments.
