DAP’s Groundbreaking Wall & Cavity Widespray Foam Now Available in 20-ounce Can

It contains the most recent polyurethane sealant technology and has the same broadcast spray versatility as a 2-Component spray kit.

DAP, a home improvement and construction goods industry leader, is expanding its Wall & Cavity Foam with Widespray Application portfolio by introducing a 20-ounce hand-held can. Wall & Cavity Foam is a 1-Component spray foam solution that is easy to use and spray-ready. It contains the most recent polyurethane sealant technology and has the same broadcast spray versatility as a 2-Component spray kit. The can’s user-friendly design has a patent-pending widespray adjustable applicator for horizontal and vertical spray applications, and it’s easy to set up and apply, saving users time.

“At DAP, we are continually working to improve our Wall & Cavity Foam solutions based on feedback from professionals and DIYers. Our latest product, the 20-ounce Wall & Cavity Foam can, is intended to give our customers with a foam solution that is both convenient and effective,” stated Dana Chin, Senior Product Manager at DAP Global Inc. “This breakthrough product allows users to easily seal air gaps and insulate those narrow and hard to reach areas.”

The Wall & Cavity Foam with Widespray Applicator has a unique recipe and application method that results in remarkable performance. The 20-ounce can is suitable for small surface area applications such as rim joists, difficult-to-reach locations, touch-ups in wall cavities, attics and crawl spaces, overhead spraying, and more. The can features a six-inch widespray pattern that can be readily altered between horizontal and vertical spray applications. The flow controller provides a controlled and uniform spray pattern.

Wall & Cavity Foam offers a low GWP foam mix that complies with US requirements. It provides excellent thermal insulation, allowing homeowners to save money on their energy expenses. It offers a wide application temperature range of 40°F to 120°F, a high closed-cell structure, and is Class A fire-rated, meeting building regulatory requirements.

“Users simply shake the can, attach the applicator, adjust for horizontal or vertical spraying, flip the can upside down, and spray 12 inches from the surface.” Furthermore, it is tiny and lightweight, which improves your spraying experience,” Chin remarked. “By adding this foam spray applicator to their home repair arsenal, both Pros and DIYers can protect homes from seasonal temperature changes and save on energy costs.”
