Modine Expands Its Commercial and Residential Electric Infrared Heater Portfolio

Modine, a market leader in innovative heating solutions for the HVAC sector, has added two new infrared products to its range.

Modine is expanding its domestic electric product line to give consumers and contractors with a wide range of heating options for both commercial and residential environments.

“At Modine, we remain committed to providing our commercial and residential customers with the necessary tools to meet their heating needs,” remarked Jon Schlemmer, Vice President and General Manager of Modine’s Heating Division. “The new MEQ and MES series allow us to continue expanding our electric portfolio with options that can provide excellent heating for backyard patios, restaurants, workshops and much more.”

“We are excited to introduce these new products to our growing line of infrared heating products as we continue to evolve and further separate ourselves as the leading provider of innovative heating solutions.”

The new MEQ infrared heater strikes an ideal balance between heating efficiency and low-light output. The product includes a high-intensity, low-light Tungsten lamp that provides instantaneous directional heat wrapped in a weatherproof housing with a remote for indoor and outdoor use. This heat is evenly dispersed and virtually unaffected by windy conditions. With power outputs of up to 4800w, the MEQ is ideal for restaurants and backyard patios.

The MES infrared heater produces long-wave radiant and convective heat output, resulting in constant and intense heat. This no-light, radiant heater is intended to provide warmth in temperate temperatures, making it ideal for enclosed or partially enclosed places such as solariums, workshops, yoga studios, semi-covered outdoor rooms, or any partially enclosed space with low wind exposure.

Both the MEQ and MES run silently and can be installed on walls or ceilings. Both units offer a modern appearance because to their powder-coated aluminum bodies, which resist corrosion and deformation over time.
