Touchless Technology: American Standard’s Cadet Toilet Series is Now Available

Touchless technology is currently available in the cadet toilet series from American Standard. The Cadet Touchless Flush Toilet is designed to reduce germ accumulation on surfaces.

With the release of the new Cadet Touchless Flush Toilet, American Standard has added a touchless option to its Cadet flushing system in response to a demand for products that reduce the spread of germs on surfaces.

“We are always looking for ways to improve life in the heart of the home, and, given the consumer demand for touchless products, expanding our range of touchless products to offer an option in toilets was an essential next step,” said American Standard’s brand head, Gene Barbato.

“The Cadet Touchless Flush Toilet pairs touchless technology with the proven flushing performance of our popular Cadet model, providing a product that offers reliability, a competitive price point, and peace of mind in one of the most important rooms in the home,” Barbato elaborates.

Each toilet is equipped with a motion-activated touchless sensor module that can be installed in any convenient location, such as the wall or toilet tank.

For continuous operation, a push-button manual flush option is also available.

According to the manufacturer, the toilet’s WaterSense-certified flushing mechanism uses 20% less water than standard flushing systems, at 1.28 gallons per flush.

The EverClean toilet surface is designed to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew, and the slab-sided bowl shape makes cleaning simple.

There are two types of traps: concealed and open.
