Contruent Introduces SaaS-Based Capital Project Management Software

Contruent, the leading capital project management solution for big construction projects, announced the release of Contruent Enterprise, a software-as-a-service solution that enables owners and EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) to execute projects more quickly and accurately.

The new Contruent Enterprise software is being released as the former ARES PRISM rebrands to Contruent, building on its legacy of 25 years of leadership in helping mega construction companies stay on track and on budget by introducing much needed innovation in the notoriously inefficient construction sector.

Construction projects are increasing across the country, and the construction industry is continuing to grow. With expenses on the rise, Contruent Enterprise provides owners and EPCs with an easy approach to stay on project and budget while capitalizing on industry opportunities. Contruent Enterprise, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, was created to assist budget owners of large-scale commercial megaprojects ($100 million+) in completing projects faster, better, and at a lower cost.

Contruent Enterprise is ready to use straight away. With a configurable interface and additional capabilities like integrated cost and schedule, contract management, engineering, and field management, the program optimizes the scheduling and budget management of construction megaprojects. Contruent Enterprise provides customers with a powerful project-ready management platform that may help with timeline and budget requirements all in one location. Users can utilize the Contruent Enterprise cloud-based platform to:

    • Navigate cost management aspects such as budget information, variance analysis, staffing, funding, and scheduling with ease.
    • Improve contractor management by optimizing spending and performance.
    • To improve communication and collaboration, oversee project-critical change management and contract management skills.
    • Improve engineering, procurement, and field management oversight.

“Construction projects show no signs of slowing down, particularly with President Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure initiative being deployed and budget owners need the best tools to manage these opportunities,” remarked Ryan Kubacki, CEO of Contruent. “Our new SaaS solution, Contruent Enterprise is faster than its predecessor, integrates cost and schedules and comes project-ready with a quarter century of best practices built in. The result is unrivaled accuracy, speed, and cost efficiency.”

Contruent Enterprise has all of the features that customers adored in its predecessor, ARES PRISM, as well as new and better additions. Contruent Enterprise is cloud-based, making it easier for project managers and huge construction crews to collaborate and see what’s going on. Customers who use existing on-premise legacy systems will continue to receive the same commitment and support while benefiting from a better business foundation.

Contruent was founded following the acquisition of ARES PRISM by M33 Growth, a growth equity group that named co-investor and seasoned software executive Kubacki as CEO to help the company develop and innovate. Contruent creates the greatest cost management solutions for huge capital projects in government infrastructure, oil and gas, energy, and mining. The company’s software has established an industry standard for strategic capital project systems, assisting businesses around the world in delivering megaprojects and complex infrastructure in 26 nations.

“In 2022 we invested significantly in research and development and complemented our deep engineering expertise with a new management team from Oracle, Google and Microsoft to innovate, scale and grow,” Kubacki explained. “This resulted in growing our global business by 55% in 2022 and we are just getting started.”
