Gates Introduces Clean Master Plus Pressure Wash Hose

Gates, a global manufacturer of highly engineered power transmission and fluid power solutions, announced the introduction of the Clean Master Plus hose platform, the company’s newest industrial hose offering designed for high-pressure applications in harsh industrial environments.

Clean Master Plus operates at exceptionally high pressures of up to 6,000 psi, which is three times higher than the ordinary pressure washer hose. This next generation hose structure is also 22% lighter and 50% more flexible on average than present 6,000 psi hoses, which improves ergonomics and safety, reduces worker fatigue, and increases productivity.

Clean Master Plus offers the following features and benefits:

    • REACH certified, ozone and abrasion resistant cover for long-lasting performance in harsh settings.
    • Smooth cover provides excellent maneuverability on rough surfaces.
    • Higher working temperature (up to 300ºF) compared to current version.
    • Flexible and lightweight structure allows for easy handling.
    • Compact design decreases the space required for storage.
    • Suitable for Megacrimp couplings, stainless steel couplings, and Gates Crimpers.

“We know industrial cleaning is a tough job, and designed Clean Master Plus to last longer, operate at higher pressures, and be easier to use. This hose platform leverages the latest in our advanced materials and wire reinforcement technology to withstand the toughest conditions in construction, marine, general manufacturing, public works, mining, and commercial property maintenance applications, to name a few,” remarked Tom Pitstick, President of APAC and Global Strategy. “Gates has a long history of innovating and pushing boundaries to engineer products that exceed our customers’ expectations.”

Clean Master Plus is the result of Gates’ Eco-Innovation product development process. This process combines the company’s capabilities in materials science development, process engineering, and product design to create high-quality, high-performance products that exceed customer expectations while also helping to reduce the environmental impact of the products throughout their life cycle, including how they are manufactured.
