Symetri Introduces Naviate Zero, Advancing Sustainable Building Design with Innovative, Green Technology

Symetri, a prominent member of the Addnode Group, has introduced Naviate Zero, a specialized solution designed to improve sustainability and energy efficiency in the architecture, engineering, construction, owner (AECO), and manufacturing sectors.

Naviate Zero is an advanced Autodesk Revit add-on that enables designers and engineers to accurately measure emissions, make environmentally conscious decisions, and utilize the data for comprehensive lifecycle assessments. This add-on aligns with the company’s enduring commitment to sustainability.

The construction sector presently accounts for 39% of yearly CO2 emissions, with embodied carbon representing 11% of worldwide annual emissions. Naviate Zero aims to address these environmental concerns by specifically targeting the initial phases of a building’s life cycle in order to reduce its impact. Naviate Zero empowers architects to make choices that have substantial and enduring environmental advantages by prioritizing design and material selection, and offering sustainability-focused design support and energy simulation capabilities.

“At Symetri, our purpose is to inspire and enable people to work smarter for a better future,” Mikko Viertola, CTO at Symetri stated. “Acknowledging the environmental impact within our clients’ industries, we recognized the responsibility and identified an opportunity to make a positive contribution. The vision evolved to empower individuals to make well-informed, sustainably responsible decisions and has materialized now through Naviate Zero, a platform that integrates reliable data to facilitate informed decision-making in sustainable design and construction.”

Michael DeLacey, the Chief Executive Officer at Symetri US, stated that, “By leveraging digital workflows and advanced technologies, we enable organizations to adopt strategies to achieve net-zero targets, reduce waste, and improve energy efficiency. With Naviate Zero, professionals in the AECO industry can optimize their building designs to minimize environmental impact, reduce long-term operational costs, and comply with green building standards.”

Naviate Zero utilizes Symetri’s strategic alliance with One Click LCA, the foremost global platform for conducting lifecycle assessments, generating environmental product declarations, and promoting sustainability. Naviate Zero offers architects and designers easy entry to worldwide building material data using One Click LCA’s comprehensive databases, thereby enhancing sustainability benchmarks in the construction sector.
