United Felts Launches Robust UV CIPP Liner Portfolio, Showcasing Unrivaled Innovation in Infrastructure Repair

This cutting-edge portfolio combines the strengths of United GRP with EnviroCure UV, providing complete solutions for a wide range of sewer rehabilitation needs while leveraging the unrivaled benefits of UV-cured technology.

United Felts (Formerly Applied Felts Ltd. & FerraTex Solutions), a pioneer in the water and wastewater infrastructure business, is pleased to announce the debut of its new UV CIPP Portfolio, which is made in the United States. This cutting-edge portfolio combines the strengths of United GRP with EnviroCure UV, providing complete solutions for a wide range of sewer rehabilitation needs while leveraging the unrivaled benefits of UV-cured technology.

    Expanding Capabilities with United GRP

United GRP, the latest addition to the portfolio, is designed for gravity sewers and large infrastructure projects. United GRP liners, made from continuous fiberglass, are known for their remarkable strength and endurance, making them ideal for applications requiring lengthy lengths and big diameters. “Our United GRP product sets the standard for a structurally strong UV alternative, with features such as a multi-layer, overlapping structure that allows for a thinner wall while optimizing flow capacity. Furthermore, we’re supplying liners in as little as two weeks, offering contractors the longest in-hand shelf life so they can adequately plan for projects to fulfill their clients’ needs,” stated Mike Vellano, President & CEO of Vortex Companies (United Felts Parent Company). These liners are shipped pre-impregnated from any of our wet-out facilities to anyplace in the United States and Canada, providing quick, dependable installation while minimizing environmental effect.

Enhanced Flexibility (Patent Pending) Enviro-Cure UV

EnviroCure UV, a popular choice in the market, is designed for sections with several laterals. Its unusual structure enables the liner to ‘dimple’ at lateral connections, making the reinstatement process easier. EnviroCure UV is perfect for ecologically conscious and high-profile projects, providing high strength with a thinner wall, resulting in better flow and less abrasion. “The excitement of EnviroCure UV is that it provides the perfect amount of flexibility to allow for dimpling at laterals, while delivering the strength to be a 50-year solution,” stated Mark Chandler, United Felts Technical Director.

    Looking ahead.

“With the introduction of the ‘United Felts UV CIPP Portfolio,’ we are not just launching products; we are delivering the most robust suite of options in the market, giving asset owners and contractors the power to choose the best solution for their project,” stated Matt Timberlake, president of United Felts. United Felts continues to pioneer novel solutions for the water and wastewater industries.
