Trex Corporation, the world’s leading maker of high-performance wood-alternative decking and railing, has released Trex Select T-Rail in a daring bid to expand its footprint in the competitive deck railing market.
The composite railing system, which includes a popular T-shaped top rail, is intended to bring the beauty and ease of Trex’s high-performance composite and aluminum railing to a wider audience at a price that is competitive with PVC vinyl railing.
“Trex Select T-Rail is an instant classic,” stated Leslie Adkins, Trex Company’s vice president of marketing and Sustainability development. “With this introduction, Trex brings to market a competitively priced, high-performance, low-maintenance composite rail system that not only rounds out our railing portfolio to be more comprehensive, but also allows us – and our dealer partners – to compete more aggressively at the entry level.”
Trex Select T-Rail is engineered for ease, efficiency, and economic value, with a classic T shape on top and two infill options – square composite balusters in Classic White for a cohesive, coordinated look, or round aluminum balusters in Charcoal Black for a more modern contrast. Traditional White full-span top and bottom rails are available in 36″ and 42″ heights and 6′ and 8′ lengths.
“Trex Select T-Rail is offered in two clean looks that deliver on simplicity,” Adkins added. “In addition to expertly curated color and material pairings, the system uses a low-profile, underside bracket system for quick, easy assembly.”
Trex Select T-adaptable Rail’s design offers a perfect frame to any deck and maintains its clean look with minimal upkeep. Components are constructed from at least 40% recycled materials, continuing Trex’s tradition of sustainability, and the system is guaranteed by a 25-year Limited Home Warranty and a 10-year Commercial Warranty.
