Billy Goat Introduces a New Engine Option for their Sod Cutter Lineup

Billy Goat, a Briggs & Stratton trademark, is thrilled to introduce the new 200 cc Kohler COMMAND PRO CV200 engine choice for their 18″ and 24″ sod cutters.

Billy Goat’s Hydro-Drive Sod Cutters, built on the industry’s most durable foundation, now provide Kohler’s 9.5 ft-lbs of torque output for a high-performance commercial power engine. Easy-Pull technology provides smooth starters, and a 3-year limited business warranty ensures high-efficiency performance.

The engine’s Accu-Fill gasoline tank has a 45% larger angled fuel neck, making filling easier and spilling less. The Consistent-Cut technology maintains engine speed, resulting in a cleaner sod cutting experience. Cast-iron cylinder liners increase engine longevity and protection, while a cyclonic air filter allows for longer replacement intervals, resulting in less maintenance and more time cutting.

Billy Goat’s Hydro-Drive Sod Cutters are ideal for golf, municipal, sports turf, landscaping, flatwork, hardscape, and irrigation applications. The 18″ and 24′ units are ideal for any landscaping work, thanks to their user-friendly controls, changeable ground speeds (forward and reverse), and simple setup and operation. The 18″ has 5.5 gross HP* Honda power, while the 24″ has 6.5 gross HP* Honda power.

Billy Goat branded property clean-up products have a 50-year track record of innovation, productivity, and quality.

    *Power rated by engine manufacturer.
