Hilti North America, a global leader in providing innovative tools, technology, software, and services to the commercial construction industry, has delivered on its promise to expand the all-in-one Nuron battery platform with contractor-specific innovation, including the introduction of its DD 150-U-22 Cordless diamond core rig, two DSH 600/700 cut-off saws, and PR 4/40/40G-22 Rotating Lasers.
The new DD 150-U-22 is a versatile option for hand-held and rig-mounted coring. It is the first core rig powered by Nuron that runs on the same battery platform as handheld cordless tools, allowing contractors to use the same set of interchangeable batteries for all Hilti tools, whether for light or heavy-duty applications, without sacrificing performance.
Along with the DD 150-U-22, Hilti is expanding its Diamond portfolio by introducing the second generation of two new cut-off saws, the DSH 600-22 ATC and DSH 700-22 ATC, which incorporate power, safety, and comfort-enhancing features based on direct customer feedback.
Hilti is also introducing three new rotating lasers based on the Nuron cordless platform. The PR 4 is for horizontal levelling. The PR 40 is a red laser universal tool designed for horizontal, vertical, and slope applications, whereas the PR 40G is a universal tool with a green beam for greater visibility. All lasers include straightforward one-button controls, automatic functions within 300 m, and easier alignment for formwork, slope grading, and squaring, making them suitable for one-person operation. These rotators are supported by Hilti’s tough design, calibration, and repair services. Furthermore, smart asset tracking and battery monitoring on the Nuron platform improve efficiency and ease tool management.
The company’s development of equipment such as the DD 150-U-22 demonstrates its continuous ambition to dominate other areas of construction outside concrete and fastening, for which it is well known.
“Hilti’s goal is to be the best productivity partner for our customers,” stated Mike McGowan, Region Head and CEO of Hilti North America. “We have the tools, technology, and services to assist decrease complexities, remain on schedule and on budget, and minimize safety risks—all of which ultimately improve construction. And with these latest developments, we’re better positioned than ever to help customers from start to end.”
