New SPEEDBOR SUPREME Self-Feed and Auger Bits Launched by IRWIN

    SPEEDBOR SUPREME self-feed and auger bits have been released by IRWIN, the world’s leading manufacturer of hand tools and power tool accessories.

    The new SPEEDBOR SUPREME bit family is engineered for high-performance wood drilling and is designed to withstand repeated nail impacts.

    The SPEEDBOR SUPREME self-feed and auger bits last 3X longer* and are more durable on the job site, cutting through clean and nail-infested wood. The bits’ high-speed steel cutting blades retain their sharpness due to their long-lasting bi-metal design.

    The bits are intended for high-performance drilling.

    They have a resharpenable cutting edge, an aggressive screw tip, and a corrosion-resistant black oxide coating.
    IRWIN SPEEDBOR SUPREME self-feed and auger bits come in a variety of lengths and diameters, allowing users to easily complete even the most difficult wood-drilling tasks.

    SPEEDBOR SUPREME Self-Feed Bit Specifications:

    • Self-feed bits have a high-speed steel cutting edge and an aggressive screw tip for quickly drilling through lumber.
    • Engineered to cut through the most difficult drilling applications, the IRWIN® SPEEDBOR SUPREMETM 2-9/16″ self-feed bit drills 6.3X holes vs. IRWIN previous model, when drilling into 1-1/2″ thick Brazilian oak hardwood.
    • The self-feed bits are made to drill fast, clean holes with few interruptions. They have an enlarged shank that can cut 4″x4″ lumber without the use of extensions and a replacement tip included.
    • The self-feed bits work with standard drill chucks, and the 7/16 “Quick change hex fits quick-change ready right-angle drills.
    • Self-feed bits are ideal for drilling holes in PVC pipes for water, drain, and waste lines, as well as electrical cables and conduits.

    SUPREME SPEEDBOR Auger Bit Specifications:

    • To make clean holes, the auger bits easily cut through wood.
    • The screw tip pulls material through, and the improved flute design allows for quick and effective chip ejection.
    • The bits are made of tough bimetal and are intended to withstand repeated nail impacts.
    • Drilling into 1-1/2″ diameter auger bit drills 236 more holes than IRWIN Weldtec auger bits.
    • Because of the 7/16″ diameter, the auger bits are suitable for drilling holes to run electrical cables and conduit, PVC piping for water lines, and drilling through holes to bolt massive timber beams “Hexadecimal hexadecimal hexadecimal.
