Blink 7/8-inch Custom for Windows and Doors is now available from ODL

ODL, Inc., a fenestration industry leader, expands its Blink Blinds + Glass line with a new 7/8-inch version of its popular blinds-between-glass.

Blink 7/8 Custom offers a slim option for light and privacy control to patio doors up to 18 square feet and windows up to 12 square feet with a 7/8-inch IG pocket, thanks to its durable blinds sandwiched between two panes of glass.

Because enclosed blinds do not have dangling cords, do not need to be dusted, and will not bend or tangle like exposed blinds, the industry-first design eliminates light gaps, shadows, and sunlight glare while also providing minimal maintenance and enhanced safety for children and pets.

For dual-operator applications taller than 48 inches, such as patio doors, the new Blink 7/8 Custom blinds are now available.

Blinds in 7/8-widths will be available beginning October 1 for single-operator applications less than 48-inches tall, including windows.

These innovative blinds can be found at national home centers as well as local window and door specialty dealers across the United States and Canada.

The following are some of the key features:

    • Components that match in six different colors
    • Glass can be tempered or annealed.
    • Clear glass, 8 Low-E, or 4 NEAT options are available.
    • Custom sizes available in 1/16″ increments from 8″ to 48″ wide x 18″ to 80″ tall.
    • EasyGlide With only a slight movement, the operator raises, lowers, and tilts the blinds.

“The new configuration will open up new opportunities for designers and builders to spec and install Blink blinds for both residential and commercial applications,” said Townes Parsley, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ODL, Inc.

“We expect a growing number of homeowners and a variety of small businesses to opt for the superior functionality and outstanding look of Blink 7/8 Custom.”
