Window Hero Launches New Drone-powered Cleaning Service and Window Film Solutions

Window Hero has teamed with Lucid Bots, Inc., a North Carolina-based artificial intelligence (AI) robotics startup, to provide drone-powered exterior cleaning solutions capable of handling larger structures more efficiently.

Window Hero, a HomeFront Brands franchise that specializes in a variety of outside cleaning services, announced the launch of two new services that will not only elevate outdoor cleaning to new heights, but will also give consumers with an additional layer of physical protection.

Window Hero has teamed with Lucid Bots, Inc., a North Carolina-based artificial intelligence (AI) robotics startup, to provide drone-powered exterior cleaning solutions capable of handling larger structures more efficiently. In addition to drone cleaning, the exterior cleaning company now supplies and installs security window film to help commercial clients strengthen their external barriers.

“This new drone-powered cleaning service is a cost-effective solution that allows for faster cleanup time with a smaller crew using fewer tools,” stated Window Hero President David Blue. “We are also pleased to provide our consumers with the new security window film. In today’s world, giving schools and businesses an extra layer of security against attackers can provide comfort in difficult situations. We’re delighted about our collaboration with Lucid and the new services we’ll be able to provide our clients.”

Last week, Window Hero unveiled its innovative drone-cleaning service at Ambassador Christian School in Huntersville, North Carolina. While on-site, the team also installed security film on the school’s windows.

The sturdy film prohibits access if shot or shattered, and it also makes it more difficult for anyone on the outside of the school to see inside the classrooms, providing pupils with additional protection.

“Our goal is to provide a clean and safe environment for local children to receive an education,” HomeFront Brands Chairman and CEO Jeff Dudan explained. “HomeFront Brands is committed to the communities it serves, and we are constantly exploring for new methods to meet our clients’ cleaning and security needs. The drones not only reduce the cost of cleaning operations for our clients, but they also give our Window Hero personnel a safer alternative to clean larger structures.

Window Hero employs a Lucid drone known as the Sherpa. The Sherpa fits into any existing soft-wash pump system, is simple to fly and operate, and can clean up to 300 square feet per minute.

“We have high hopes for our new partnership with HomeFront Brands and Window Hero,” stated Lucid’s founder and CEO Andrew Ashur. “Lucid’s mission has been to make dangerous jobs safer while also providing cutting-edge technologies to traditional sectors. We are excited to help Window Hero provide effective, innovative, and efficient service to their consumers.”

Lucid Bots, Inc., based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is an AI robotics firm that develops robots for labor-intensive activities. It has been highlighted in TechCrunch and Forbes and focuses on providing technology solutions that improve safety and efficiency.
